I have been exploring and reading about Gmail since it first came out in 2004, but I just recently found out a new trick which can be very useful in many ways. It is my favorite tip/trick so far!
Alright, here it goes. Let’s say that your email address is ‘email@example.com’, You will receive any email sent to the following email addresses even though you never registered any of them. In short, all of the emails sent to any of the emails below, will be sent to your primary email “firstname.lastname@example.org”
You get the deal. It does not matter how many dots you place in the email address, it can be even something like ‘email@example.com’ and you’ll still get it on ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’.
You have probably already heard about the Google latest project, Google’s new Inbox. It worked with Gmail and is the new email app that is still in the invite only stage just like Gmail was years ago. There are 3 ways to get it right now, from a friend who already has Inbox and could send you an invite, from us or from Google. If you do not have friend with Inbox then please leave your email below and we will send you an invite first order first serve basis or you can request an invite by emailing Google at email@example.com
Ok, so once you are there, look for the link that says “I cannot access my account” and click on it. You will be taken to another page, then proceed to type your full email address including @gmail.com. Click Submit buttom. after that, type the security characters that you see in the. “captcha”. After that click “Continue.” Click on the check-box that says “I no longer have access to these” and finally Click “Continue”.
You will then fill out all the required information shown on that page so that Google could proceed with your request to regain access to your account. They will email you back within 24-48 hours after the form has been submitted.
